This project had an emphasis on developing my typography and photography skills. It needed to include all original content including the typeface for headings and all the imagery.

When I had decided on the subject matter, the challenge was orchestrating conditions for the photos to be taken. More specifically, making the images compliment the tpeface and accurately reflect the subject matter.

using instagram foodies and inspiration, I was able to create imagery that captured the essence of deconstructivism. Once the images had been touched up on photoshop, I began working within the constraints of these images when applying the typeface. You can see this most in the cover of the cookbook with the word "deconstructed" fitting around the plate.
